As a relatively recent convert to the game of golf I decided to create the Divots Galore website as somewhere to keep track of my scores and hopefully see a gradual improvement over time.

As other golfers have asked me if they can use the website too I've opened up the system so that as long as the website doesn't get plastered with unwanted spam form submissions anyone can add themselves and their golfing friends, add and update golf-courses and cards with their scores.

The system currently works out averages over time and a player's handicap based on their best game or most recent 3 cards. If handicaps are entered the system will also calculate Stapleford points.

At some point I'd like to develop system for charity/society days. Meanwhile, if you have any feedback or would like a specific change, please use the form on the contact page.
